Departmental Activities Conducted
1) Non Teaching Staff Development Programme (23 Dec. 2010 to 05 Jan 2011)
The Non Teaching staff development programme was conducted from 23 Dec. 2010 to 05 Jan 2011.The purpose of this programme was to give an opportunity to Non Teaching Staff for developing themselves. This programme was successful and Non Teaching staff was given the working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Internet, Printers etc.
2) Educational cum Recreational Tour
The educational & industrial tours are helpful for students to get a glimpse of professional life, to full fill this motive the students of CSE and IT department got a hand on experience of launching satellites, image processing, and land mapping techniques at HARSAC on 19 April, 2011.
3) Communication Skills
To enhance the communication and presentation skills students are continuously motivated to participate in group discussions, paper presentations, and extempore competition etc. Most of the students enthusiastically participated in these activities during the current semester. To motivate the students the winners are awarded d with certificates and trophy.
4) Design and Programming Activities
To sharpen the technical skills of the students they are encouraged to design labs, business cards, certificates, new systems and software & hardware projects using technologies like Dot Net, Photo Shop, and Corel Draw etc. This task is accomplished at departmental level by organizing these activities on weekly basis.
5) Workshop and Expert Lectures
The need for organizing these activities can hardly be under estimated in today’s technological scenario. The renowned experts from industries and academic circles are invited to acquaint the students with latest developments on the topics ranging from web site developments, mobile computing, and artificial intelligence.
